Another outrage: Bodies of HK hijack victims allowed to be photographed by media
STOMPer Bobby was enraged that Filipinos allowed the media to snap pictures of the victims of the hijacked Philippine tourist bus. In the video the STOMPer sent in, the coffins are opened for the press photographers.
On Monday, Aug 23, eight Hong Kong tourists were killed when an ex-policeman hijacked the bus in Manila. The gunman had done this in a desperate attempt to get his job back.
The hostages were rescued when Philippine security forces arrived, however eight tourists and the gunman were dead after the ordeal.
STOMPer Bobby wrote in an email this morning (Aug 26):
"The world has been so disappointed with the Philippines for their actions with regard to the bus hijacking issue.
"I happened to come across this video which was shared on Facebook.
"Therefore I shall continue to share this upsetting and terrible news to even more people.
"In the first place, why and who are they to open the coffins to allow the reporters to take photographs of the dead. For WHAT reasons?
"The whole world is so upset for the families for the Philippines' actions.
"PHILIPPINES, this isn't a joke! It is not a news item that is worth hits for whichever publication.
"It is not funny. It is your country's RESPONSIBILITY to prevent such a case to happen."
