The rumour that seems to have legs is that this chap is being blackmailed by a 3rd party. This has been going on for sometime.

"ATP agency - 2 June 2020 - Singapore Pastor Kong Hee who is under investigation for discrepancies in church funds is rumoured to have fallen out with his church colleagues over the issue of delegating high risk tasks to his colleagues. Baptist Lim, the current senior pastor of mobile ministry cited an example where he was asked to open links in his PC because Kong felt unsafe using his PC to open links fearing trojans"

Probably. For other things like marriage-on-the-rocks the divorce'd be official soon enough. All in all, in his business dealings, he is no innocent lamb. Someone did put up an "analysis" (what an insult of the English word) by an investment banker in "colloquial" English sometime about CHC and the Suntec space renters and while the author gave no answers but instead more questions in his pseudo-thesis that was time-consuming to read it could be that there is some kind of an interesting deal between them both that only they and he know that should be fun-splashed on the dailies?
Think the Chinese papers could do a more excellent job on reporting on the relationship.

Contributors to asiaone forum have even put up the title deeds of Kong Hee's Devonshire private apartment bought in March 2010 which bears ONLY his name.
Speculation rife there on Kong Hee's rumored 'seperation & divorce understanding' with Sun Ho, thereby explaining why he no hew her slutty ways & lifestyle in Hollywood....
I personally find the rumors incredulous. Still, if he is the fraud that he is made out to be, then sooner or later his postcard perfect life is going to crumble as surely as a cookie ....
