STOMPer Rachel alerted STOMP about an accident that happened at Redhill MRT Station this morning. A man had fallen onto the MRT tracks just as the train was approaching. Thankfully, the train stopped in time and the man narrowly escaped death.

According to news reports, the train service at Redhill MRT Station going towards Pasir Ris was disrupted at 11.35am this morning when the accident occurred. It resumed at 12.17pm.

STOMP contacted SCDF and its spokesperson said:

"We received a call at 11.33am this morning about an accident at the Redhill MRT Station.

"A Chinese male, in his thirties, fell onto the MRT tracks.

"He landed on the tracks, but the train stopped, and he wasn't run over or pinned under the train.

"He was conscious and climbed up to the MRT platform by himself.

"The paramedics attended to him and found he had head injuries.

"He was sent to Alexandra Hospital immediately."

nowaday,i think this kind of news are being blocked.

Singapore will become like Japan the No.1 Hub for people to jump into MRT or Bullet Train tracks .

This one ne'ber die !

He will live to tell the tale .... seems he went down to pick something he drop.... bird-brain behaviour is still considered suicidal !

With so much frustration that people faced everyday .

There are some anti-social behavior like pushing someone else off the platform .

where are those "red shirts" when we need them?
hiding in bendcock war zone barricades?
used to see many "red shirts" walking about on platforms with walkie-talkie where are they now?
