<!-- Begin .post --> COW should bypass his own heart in Malaysia

Not only that he is a famiLEE LEEgime minister from Malaysia Penang, his policies are always skewed towards Malaysia:

  • In 2006 he wanted to shift elderly citizens' nursing homes to Malaysia
  • In 2010 he wanted to spend our CPF Medi-Save in Malaysian Hospitals
Now he have his own heart by-pass in Singapore? Why?

Take his own CPF Medi-Save and spend in his own hometown in Malaysia & go bypass his own heart there! Why not?

Why is he here spending our tax payers money on his own Malaysian Heart while he made all these Malaysian skewed policies to impose on us Singaporean citizens?

Rep of Singapore belongs to us Singaporeans, so is our CPF funds. The Republic & our land & CPF don't belong to Malaysia nor famiLEE LEEgime nor PAp. Does COW know this within his heart? Isn't that the problem? Is by-pass able to fix this problem?

Is he by-passing our CPF funds into Malaysia with his policy as famiLEE LEEgime HELL Minister?

The coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) was performed at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) following advice from Mr Khaw's doctors after a health check-up last week.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that Mr Khaw is recovering well, and had been feeling fine before his routine check-up. The surgery was an elective one, meaning that the procedure was not an emergency.

She added that the 57-year-old Health Minister has been taking medication for high cholesterol. Mr Khaw had previously told reporters that his father also had high cholesterol, according to The New Paper report. High levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol can clog up arteries and increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Was he means-tested and made to pay cash deposit before the hospital attend to him ?

hi there

1. honest, it is damn ironical for some cow who is heartless and yet undergone a bypass for some unhealthy heart thing.
2. is this karma or what?
3. i guess it would be appropriate for a "change-heart" procedure for such cow thing.

I am really surprised, I didn't know PAP MP has a heart

A heart by-pass is a serious problem to recover from, you need a long convalence period. I would like to know how Ah Khaw expects do a good job as MP while recovering

Did they mean test you? for you are in part paying for his medical bill... I guess the scarecrow must have a heart somewhere?:p

I understand that ministers and senior civil servants go to public hospitals Class A wards free. Lower ranks go free to other classes according to ranks. This applies to NSmen whether full-time or reservist as long as while in service. Note that this doesn't apply to MPs who doesn't hold government positions (i.e. backbenchers and oppositions).

Is 57 years old very young for a heart bypass? Just wondering. I mean, he's a doctor right? So how come he dunno how to take care of himself??

I thought heart bypass is for people in their 70s?

Khaw Boon Wan's not a doctor. Anyway, many years ago, my uncle went heart bypass in his late 30s. So it's not something only for the 70s.

This is surprising to me.

All along I thought he didn't even have a heart..

err..maybe a plastic one I thought..

SINGAPORE: The Prime Minister's Office in a statement said Transport Minister Raymond Lim will cover the responsibilities of the Health Minister for the next three weeks.

This after Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan underwent a successful coronary artery bypass surgery on Tuesday.

The statement added that Mr Khaw had a recent routine medical check-up and was found to have an abnormal stress ECG or electrocardiogram.

Further tests revealed significant narrowing of a major heart artery.

Mr Khaw is currently recovering well in hospital and is expected to be discharged home in a few days.

He should be returning to a full work schedule in a few weeks' time.

The Prime Minister and his Cabinet colleagues wish Minister Khaw a speedy recovery. -CNA/vm

Does it really matter?

nowadays, stents & coronary heart bypass are commonplace even for those in the 40s-50s age band.

Even mediacorp artiste Zhu Hou Ren was a bypass patient some years back in his late 40s I think.

Must be due to the very rich food that he can afford to pay via his obscence salary.

Some higher mortal challenged the lesser mortals if they their 3 meals either at the hawker center, food-courts or resturants, knowing their miserable salary.
