Actually, cycling on the E lane of the expressway is far safer than on ordinary roads. Isn't it?

Just now during lunch, I witnessed a female cyclist tio knocked down by a Toyota Sienta. The cheebye female cyclist cycled across the crossing without waiting for the green man to come on. Luckily, it was only a very slight bang and she just fell off the bike. She got up and cycled away. The Sienta driver came out of his car also blur.

Absolutely. In NZ there is a cycle lane along the expressway all the way from Auckland to Hamilton (110km) and not a single cyclst has been killed along that stretch of road. No cyclists have killed any motorists either.

On the other hand cyclists are regularly run down in the downtown streets of Auckland city even when there are bike lanes because of the numerous junctions and driveways along every km of road.

In murder there is usually an innocent victim in the mix. When it comes to cycling on the expressway everyone benefits. The cyclist is safer and the motorists face no additional danger from the presence of cyclists.

HGVs driven by Banglas with Kopi licenses are a far greater hazard.

If the authorities want to improve expressway safety the primary target should be all the huge trucks driven at breakneck speeds by someone who learned to drive in India or Bangladesh.
