I was referencing the "Las Malvinas son Argentinas" ("The Falklands are Argentine") banner displayed by Argentine players following their semi-final win over England. Under IFAB rules and FIFA's stadium code of conduct (Article 34.3 of the Match Protocol), equipment, paraphernalia or displays carrying political, religious, or personal slogans/statements are strictly prohibited inside stadiums. Why is FIFA choosing to look the other way? There seems to be 1 standard for Argentina and another for the rest of the countries at this World Cup.
