NTU will be having plenty of jobs open soon
One of the colleges has started a new initiative that requires staff to record how they have spent their time working.
This means that you are now essentially keeping a diary of what you are doing at work, and if management, who are obviously the most understanding and knowledgeable in all work matters, decides you are not doing enough or if your work is not deemed essential then you will be relocated or removed.
It is presumed that this initiative is to root out the seniors who have been chilling in their offices while doing minimal work. This will either force them to do more, or to leave. But as usual, management will never care about the staff who are actually too busy to be doing such stuff. Students already complain their requests take too long because of all the red tape behind it, and instead of addressing the multiple layers of approval, they decided this was the path to go for.
Many of the staff in that specific college has either left or have plans to leave. Instead of pausing the initiative and reviewing what is causing the departures, they have now extended this initiative to all the schools under them.
If you are a job seeker, feel free to fill up the gaps. I won't be there to write this stupid ass record.
