Think about it this way, that packet of photon coming from the sun may not experience time as we do and it just simply gets generated by the sun and lands on our earth that very instant as it experience the time as it perceives its reality.

Very much akin to the focal point of lenses, the entirety of its journey already present but dependent on who’s viewing it. The photon itself thinks it’s instant, we think it’s 8 minutes and counting, some alien out there light years away hasn’t seen it coming.

Entanglement happens only in closed systems. Interacting with other particles breaks entangled particles.

But this doesn't mean that things are not connected via some other means. Just not via quantum entanglement.
