China motorcycle maker Benda has just unveiled a middleweight cruiser with E-Clutch. An evolution of the Benda Dark Flag 500 (RM39,888 in Malaysia), the new V-four cruiser is fitted with an electronic clutch, and priced at 32,800 Yuan (RM19,681) in China.

Dubbed the Benda Black Flag 600, the new cruiser from China is fitted with a liquid-cooled V-four mill displacing 600 cc. Power is claimed to be 70 hp, with 55 Nm of torque, compared to the V-twin Chinchilla 500’s 52 hp at 8,800 rpm and 48 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm.

Working in a similar manner to Honda’s E-Clutch, the Black Flag 600 allows for both manual and clutchless operation of the six-speed gearbox. The Black Flag 600 comes fitted with twin chamber air suspension in the rear, operated electrically with an on-board air pump and adjusting seat height between 670 mm and 700 mm.
