I believe that these retired residents can afford not to work since they continue to stay in a condo and do not need to sell their luxury cars. Why cheapen their continental cars by attaching that low SES PHV decal on the windshield?

This is 1 of the few times that I totally agree with you. Both spouses cannot retire at the same time. Let the older one stop work first while the younger partner continues to work until she is no longer able to do so.
