Following the 1948 and 1967 Arab-Israeli wars, Palestinian refugees moved to Jordan in huge numbers. The PLO and other Palestinian guerrilla factions established a heavily armed presence there. The PLO operated with virtual autonomy in Jordan, and tried to overthrow Jordan’s monarchy.

Jordan's monarch, just like that in other Gulf Arab countries, are fake monarchs in fake countries created by the British. The entire area used to. Be under Turk ottoman rule. And under ottoman, there used to be railways running from Istanbul all. The way to Mecca via Lebanon and Palestine. Now all destroyed by British to cut Turkish supply lines.
 
Hamas has been attacking Israel long before 7 Oct 2023, which was the last straw so the IDF took appropriate action to defend itself. If the Palestinians want peace, get rid of Hamas. Then they may live peacefully side by side with Israel thereafter. How can Hamas continue to attack Israel and not expect retaliation?
