Bale outscored Maradona in every category. Yet he'd never make it to the top 10 (or even top 20) greatest players of all time. Not even in the British pantheon.

Stats don't make the footballer, unlike tennis or cycling. They don't call it the beautiful game for nothing. Some of the all-time greats like Beckenbauer or Maldini didn't even score goals. Messi as a striker scored 2.5x more goals than Maradona (midfielder, playmaker), but no one would put Messi in the god category with Maradona.

Please do not try to confuse, when you cannot convince. The comparison between Bale and Zidane is using the stats of 2 Real Madrid players. Do not compare apples with oranges.
