In all fairness, he never claimed to be tall and handsome; he was simply outlining the preferences of local women, including those who are not especially attractive. That said, even if he did describe himself that way, I would be inclined to believe him, just as I believe him when he says he lives in private property and drives a Lexus GS300.
I believe him not because I see myself as tall and handsome too, or because I also live in private property and drive something comparable to a Lexus GS300, but because I don’t compare myself with him.
