The police have arrested three Chinese nationals, aged between 29 and 34, for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt.

On Jun. 1, 2026, at about 7pm, the police were alerted to a case of robbery with hurt along Bayfront Avenue.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a 45-year-old female victim became acquainted with an individual on a messaging platform, who claimed to offer foreign currency exchange services.

The victim agreed to exchange S$50,000 of cash for foreign currency, and for the exchanged amount to be deposited into her bank e-wallet.

Acting on the individual’s instructions, the victim, accompanied by her child, brought the cash to the vicinity of Bayfront Avenue.

There she met a man who brought her to a hotel room, according to CNA, in MBS, where a second man was waiting in the bathroom.

When she produced the cash, one of the men allegedly restrained her by the neck and demanded that she hand over the money.

The victim and her child were subsequently locked in the balcony of the room and sustained minor injuries from the incident.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from CCTV and police cameras, officers from the Central Police Division, Police Operations Command Centre and Airport Police Division established the identities of the three

men within four hours of the report.

The men were found to have boarded a flight bound for Shanghai at Changi Airport. The aircraft was subsequently recalled to the gate, and the men were arrested thereafter.

Cash amounting to about S$50,000 was recovered from the men and seized as case exhibit.

The three men will be charged in Court on 3 June 2026 with the offence of robbery with hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of not less than five years and not more than 20 years, and caning of not less than 12 strokes.

Trashy Tiongs are troublemakers wherever they go.

30-day visa-free privilege for those creatures? Even 7 days is exceedingly generous for them to do touristy things on a snot-sized island before fucking off back to their motherland.

Singapore PAP loves CECAs and Tiongs. Fuck PAP :FU:

An easy way to understand the main difference between ah nehs and Tiongs.

Ah nehs lie about their qualifications, but never their intentions.

Tiongs lie about their intentions, but never their qualifications.

Not charged for this?

If you are entering or leaving Singapore carrying a total value of Physical Currency and Bearer Negotiable Instruments (CBNI)1 exceeding S$20,000 (or its equivalent in a foreign currency), you are required by law to make a CBNI declaration (Form NP 727) by submitting a full and accurate report to the Singapore Police Force. The requirement to declare will apply when you are carrying the CBNI for yourself, on behalf of any other person, travelling alone or with other persons.

It will be an offence under the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, if you fail to submit a full and accurate report. You could face:

  • A fine of up to S$50,000 or imprisonment for up to three years or both; and
  • The CBNI may be seized and/or confiscated upon conviction.
1‘Physical currency’ refers to coins and printed money. Examples of bearer negotiable instruments include a bill of exchange, cheques pay to “Cash”, cheques with “or bearer” not crossed out, promissory note, bearer bond, money order and postal order.

Should just execute them. Save money. Or let me kick their balls until they bleed to death.
