Where do you do your printing ?

invest in a cheap printer...buy second hand....alot available....like that your docs are printed without letting others know.

Totally agree but the OP said he wanted to print airline boarding passes and train tickets.

Which one better, laser jet, ink jet...etc? Not all printer can print on thicker gsm paper or any paper bigger than A3.[/B]

Go to the commercial print shops in Bras Basah Complex to print on papers thicker than 80 gsm and/or bigger than A3. You can choose the type and quality of paper.

By "commercial print shops" I don't mean their rates are exorbitant. They do serve walk-in customers too.

I always go to Bras Basah Complex for my other printing needs.

I saw 1 shop in Bedok South do printing. Was there to repair my watch.

of course. laser printers are better but more sexpensive because of costly ink cartridges.

Sun Plaza has as well. They showed me various paper materials that I am at a loss for words about, some of which were thicker than others and one of which even had broad cracked lines when folded by accident. I wanted to print a poster for interior framing. Since they stated that if you print more, the pricing will be lower, I am ultimately still delaying my decision.

I used to run around looking for places to print until a friend pointed me to Omega Brand. They sorted out my posters and flyers quickly, and prices were okay. What I really liked was how fast they replied to my questions, didn’t leave me hanging like some others. If you’ve got a tight deadline, they’re worth checking out.

Sheng Siong at HDB void deck got free Toshiba multi function printer placed at corner near fridge section, can use after midnight only as store manager sleeping at home and cashier don't care about it

I don't keep a printer at home. So I guess there are only 2 places I can go to do my printing: National Library and Standard Photo shops. According to Google, NLB charges 30 cents per A4 size and Standard Photo 20 cents.

Do I have to bring a thumb drive ? Can they print directly from my mobile phone using bluetooth ?

same same ... when office manager fuck moi for printing personal things ... moi end up go to NLB and photo shops to do printing .... still cheaper than buying a printer since printer's ink dry up fast and replacing the ink is more expensive than buying a new printer .... :whistling:

Nlb is cheaper

If you are near a school, just go into the school and ask for the photocopy/printing section. Way much cheaper. Only have to clear the security ah neh at the entrance. Just say you need to see the Vice Principal or cook up some excuse.
