Come on lah ; Koh PK children are already grown up, and he has never raised concerns on family priorities or Masagos has mentioned a word or raised concerns. More importantly, Koh PK was never known as a particularly hardworking ground MP who spent substantial time engaging residents in Tampines Central, something many Tampines residents themselves can confirm.

Frankly, this sounds more like a politically correct excuse than the real reason.

Based on the circumstances, many people can only come to two likely conclusions:
1. Either he is not on good terms with David Neo and there are internal disagreements or issues behind the scenes; or
2. He is unhappy that he did not become a full Minister, and decided to step away early to focus on his medical profession instead, where he can potentially earn significantly more money.

If you try to decipher his speech, he was saying he was an absent father, husband and son. That’s some pretty serious self bashing there. And why did it just occur to him now after his kids have grown up? Lol

It’s most likely he was caught red handed for something serious and it’s related to his personal life.

The PAP chose to throw Palmer under the bus. Tan Chuan-Jin was given a warning, but persisted in his affair with Cheng Li Hui so was shown the door. How the PM deals with such affairs is on a case-by-case basis. PM Wong may choose a different method to deal with Dr Koh.

Nah that’s not possible. If it was true that he was found to have commit something scandalous, it’s not a half measure that will be taken. PAP is not going to keep u around for sentimental reasons or maybe to try to disguise it as a family thing.

You seem to have forgotten or were unaware that the PAP faced intense public and political backlash after the 2023 resignations of Speaker of Parliament Tan CJ and MP Cheng LH over their extramarital affair. The crisis centred on the delayed disclosure of the affair by then PM Lee , the conflict of interest and comparisons to previous PAP scandals.
