Oracle is reportedly cutting around 30,000 jobs globally in 2026, including 12,000 positions in India, in one of the largest workforce reductions in the tech sector this year. The company said the move was part of a strategic shift toward AI and cloud infrastructure, not a slowdown in business. Other tech giants, including Amazon, Atlassian, Meta, ASML, Ericsson, and Block, also reduced staff. Experts say these layoffs reflect a broader industry trend toward automation and operational efficiency
