Woman seen resting baby on ledge of Admiralty block, police report filed​

The incident supposed occurred at Block 468C Admiralty Drive.

A photo of a woman resting a baby on the ledge of a Housing and Development Board (HDB) block was posted on social media.

The incident supposedly occurred at Block 468C Admiralty Drive.

The police confirmed with Mothership that a report was lodged.

The baby was in a prone position and the child's right leg was hanging off the ledge.

The May 19 Facebook post of the photo indicated that it originated from a foreign domestic worker group.

The photo was posted out of safety concerns for the baby.

A foreign domestic worker who supposedly took the photo wrote a warning that the woman in the photo was at risk of being repatriated if she was caught by others, given that her actions were highly dangerous and put the child at risk.

Many comments left on the post demanded a police report to be lodged.

Others asked for the woman to be identified so that she can be counselled and her employer informed.
