Serious Guess??? Tourist banned from Thailand for destroying E-Gate at Airport!

Trashy Tiongs are pests wherever they go.
This Chinaman probably cannot read English, got frustrated, was too proud to ask for assistance and thrashed the gates. He is going to get what he deserves: probably a fine, jail time and having to pay for damages. All because he did not want to admit he cannot read English.

Chinese man, 30, banned from Thailand for life after kicking open auto-gate gantry at airport

While attempting to get through immigration checks at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, a Chinese man, 30, got angry and kicked open the auto-gate gantry.

He then walked through the gate without authorisation, cursed at Thai immigration officers and resisted arrest.

The man has been banned from Thailand for life, was fined 450,000 baht (S$17,705) and is facing further prosecution.

Grew frustrated

The man has been identified as 30-year-old Zheng Liwei, Khaosod reported.

The incident occurred on May 13 at about 2:35pm.

Zheng was supposed to board a Spring Airlines flight bound for Shanghai at the time.

In a video of the incident shared by Khaosod, the man could be seen approaching an auto-gate gantry.

He slammed his passport onto the reader and appeared frustrated.

He then kicked open the auto-gate gantry and walked through.

A hand can be seen gesturing at him from the other end of the gate, but Zheng continued to force his way through.

Resisted arrest

Thai immigration officers attempted to arrest Zheng, but he resisted.

He also verbally abused the officers in Mandarin and English, including making comments such as, "Your mother is dead".

Zheng's wife intervened and restrained him.

He was subsequently arrested by Thai airport police.

A photo shared by Khaosod appeared to show Zheng with officials around him, along with an individual wearing a blue vest emblazoned with a Chinese flag and the words, "airport interpreter".

Banned for life

Thai police explained that Zheng had incorrectly placed his passport on the reader, which caused the gates to fail to open.

According to Khaosod, the Chinese national has been entered into the Thai immigration blacklist and is banned from entering Thailand for life.

He must also pay a compensation of 450,000 baht (S$17,705) for the damaged auto-gate.

Additionally, Zheng is also being charged with property damage as well as verbally abusing an official on duty.

Sinkieland is a snot-sized island, Tiongs really don't need a 30-day visa-free privilege to do touristy things here.

One week is already exceedingly generous. If it were up to me, only three days max.

Why thailand no airport e-gate ambassadors to assist foreign tourists ?

Tiong collapsed a building in Bangkok due to earthquake with their fake building skills and now this breaking e-gate saga. Tiongs really leave a great impression among the Thais.

Even if Thailand has e-gate ambassadors to assist tourists, would that PRC passenger open his mouth if he cannot speak English? He would be far too embarrassed to do so. I was at Ghim Moh Hawker Centre when this non-English speaking PRC woman backed her car into a delivery bay. I politely advised her not to park there or risk getting fined. To my astonishment, she raised her voice and told me to speak Mandarin if I am Chinese. I replied that we are in S'pore where Mandarin is not the common language that binds us together.
