Instead of returning his wallet, the person who found it stole all his cash (about $45) and threw his wallet into a drain along King Albert Park. My nephew used to work in a sports store back in the early 2000s when it did not have a CCTV. He found empty hangers and missing goods at regular intervals despite clothing having electronic surveillance devices that trigger alarms at exit gates. Shoplifters managed to remove those tags using pliers or similar tools. I once paid $4.50 for a tiny portion of vegetarian bee hoon at Ghim Moh Hawker Centre that could be eaten up in 4 mouthfuls. That is a kid's meal alright.
