already out liao. 2 rescue c130js were destroyed by spec ops on a makeshift runway to prevent them from falling into iranian hands as they had technical issues. 3 more flew in and took all rescuers and rescued with them.

the iranian command joked that at this rate of self-destruction (of c130js) the u.s. will run out of c130js everytime an aircraft is shot down. lol!

I have to give the yanks the credit they are due..they spent soo much rescuing a down pilot... contrast than to other countries military....much cheaper to just shoot the pilot....

You don't do a temporarily runway deep inside hostile ground, you employ the heli for the job which needs a landing pad to ferry personnel or the rescued crew.
The HC-130J acted as the airborne command-and-control and refueling hub. It always stay in the air. It is big and bulky and cant flies as fast the the fighter jet that why both of them was shot down compared to 10 numbers of the fighter, none was downed. Another A-10 Warthog was hit because it was providing low level air support for the op.

Continue dissing the Yanks but look at the amount of resources they spent to save 1 pilot...would other militaries do the same for their Soldiers?

Thats because it take years and millions to train one pilot.
If it had been a lone infantryman, they wouldn't waste such effort.

With the amount the yanks have lost...2 C130...the cost would be easily enough to pay for 20 pilots......I doubt your m&d military would even do that for 10 pilots...n the most famous m&d pilot of all time..still not found... including plane..

It’s not funny coz the US military has in excess of 13.000 aircrafts. That’s 25% of the combined total number of aircrafts of all the militaries of the world.
They have 460 C130s

now almost every military analyst wants to know what happened to the 2 c130js on the makeshift runway that had to be scuttled by the navy seal team. mechanical issues, engines failed to start, kena friendly fire, cumpromised runway, hit land mine? one was a fluke, but two? and they had to wait hours for replacement planes, not two but three.
