Bus driver operating bus 49 tower transit, approx 1245H, SG1002B, at BLK 551, on 3 April 2026 hold down horn behind funeral procession when family members boarding after sending off. All were immediately boarding but he held down horn for at least 1 minute even when he saw the procession. He had no compassion even though it was a funeral send off that only held up at most 2 minutes as pax were boarding without delay. Passengers onboard were staring at the driver. Driver don’t dare look us in the eye when horning. Public nuisance and disrespect. Is this how a company treat singaporeans who are having their last goodbye? There was no delay with people boarding so as to not block others, kept to the left side of the road.

This is disrespectful to the family. If driver like these are not reprimanded or spoken to, this will become a common occurrence for him. Is this how we show respect as a community?

I think it's pretty common sense and should be understanding one... I don't believe it's the driver's fault. Very very likely his humanity, compassion, etc... has been totally destroyed by the company he works for....
