Sooner or later all will increase prices, public transport, electric bill etc.
Always many incidents situations excuses to increase price, due inflation, fuel price hike etc but increase wages never happen to counter high cost.
After so many bombs dropped, still no sight of wages increase.

Based on feedback from my older colleagues and friends, after a certain age which varies from company to company, staff are given downgraded appraisals, no further promotion, meagre pay increments and marginalised. Some older workers are even put on PIP. The employer does that knowing that the senior staff has no option except to stay on because of age. Even if he decides to resign in anger, the company will replace him with cheaper and younger labour.

I was at Far East Flora a few years ago where I asked the Indian staff the difference between the $6, $8 and $10 fertiliser packets. He replied: "The $6 good, $8 better good and $10 best good". LOL!
