Tan Poh Chuan fined $5k after leaving bike on road for nearly 30 minutes, obstructing traffic

I applaud Tan Poh Chuan for his stubbornness, stupidity and foolishness which caused him to be $5,000 poorer. Hahaha.
The judge must be very tulan with him as maximum fine given. If the maximum is also caning i think he would also get it. Farking low class idiot. Dare to waste other people time don't dare to show face. Useless low class hdb coward. Now a laughing stock amongst his colleagues family and even im sure his wife would screw him up when he goes home. Really makes my day

If he is a footballer, he just scored the mother of all own goals. LOL!

This actually shows that Sinkies in general are balless. So many wait for police to come? Not a single one just carry his stupid bicycle and throw it aside to a grass patch?!

Did the doc drop him as a baby during delivery? Honestly shouldn't cycle in Singapore. Our infra are not meant to accommodate cyclists. It's a pedestrian and motor vehicle centric design
As a PCN and pedestrian cyclist, I always make sure safety of pedestrians are my first priority. The problem with a lot of pedestrian walkway cyclists is that they think they have priority. On the flip side, you also have some pedestrians who like to take the centre of the pathways and not keep to one side.

I prefer cyclists to ring their bell and say "excuse me" or "thank you" as they approach pedestrians from the back along pavements. The worse are those younger cyclists who ride fast and furiously on footpaths who don't ring. I saw 2 fairly recent incidents when the pedestrians were clipped by the bike handle or biker's arm. On both occasions, the biker rode away w/o stopping to apologise.

When you cycle/exercise, dopamine is released making you feel high and, in the case of insufferable fools, do dumb things.

Like this one, some fellow by the name of Eric

The consequences affected his life so much, apparently he lost his job and he even went on live radio (think it was 938live) to rant about "his side of the story" to clear the air and to rant about how his kids were also affected in school.

*LMAO*

This group of cyclists should all be executed too for blocking pedestrian crossing....

Fellow cyclists, please dont do this. You give other road cyclists a bad name, when you block the pedestrian crossing. Please note, runners do use this junction to access Jurrassic Mile.

I advocate 2nd amendment and trial by combat in Singapore. Both parties go sort out their problems. Good riddance!
