Bedroom Issues

Hi everyone, looking for some advice or shared experiences.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a while, and recently we noticed that during intimacy he can stay physically aroused but sometimes cannot reach orgasm even after a long time. This does not happen every time, but often enough that I have started wondering about it.

He tells me he is enjoying it and reassures me that it is normal for guys not to finish sometimes, so he does not seem concerned. Still, I cannot help feeling a bit insecure about it. I keep wondering whether I am attractive enough for him or if I am doing something wrong, even though he says everything is fine.

I guess what I am really worried about is whether this could mean he is losing feelings or attraction toward me, or if I am overthinking something that is actually common.

Not looking for a medical diagnosis, just hoping to hear if anyone has experienced something similar or has perspective on this. Thanks in advance.

This type of post must show photo of the female lead first lah. Otherwise how to advise?
My take is her boyfriend watches too much porn. So without visual JAV stimulation, he cannot come.

Excessive porn consumption can lead to significant mental, emotional, and social consequences, including desensitization, reduced libido for real-life partners, and altered brain reward pathways. It often results in, or stems from, social isolation, anxiety, depression, and skewed views on intimacy, alongside potential impacts on cognitive function and productivity.

Key Consequences of Excessive Porn Use:
  • Brain and Behavioral Changes: Similar to addiction, high consumption can lead to "tolerance" where individuals require more frequent or intense content to achieve the same stimulation. It is linked to increased impulsivity, emotional desensitization, and reduced cognitive flexibility.
  • Relationship and Sexual Health Issues:
    • Decreased Satisfaction: Real-life sexual experiences may feel less satisfying.
    • Sexual Dysfunction: Users may experience issues like erectile dysfunction or delayed ejaculation.
    • Relationship Strain: Excessive use can lead to intimacy loss, secrecy, decreased empathy, and potential separation.
  • Mental and Emotional Health:
    • Distorted Reality: Users may develop unrealistic expectations of partners and sexual encounters.
    • Shame and Guilt: Continued use despite negative consequences can trigger feelings of worthlessness.
    • Psychological Distress: Associations exist with anxiety, depression, and social isolation.
  • Daily Life and Functioning:
    • Reduced Productivity: Excessive viewing can lead to time management issues and neglect of work, school, or personal responsibilities.
    • Financial Issues: Costs associated with premium content can create financial strain.
While some studies debate the definition of "addiction" in this context, consistent heavy consumption is, for many, linked to functional impairment, decreased quality of life, and, for some, the development of compulsive sexual behavior disorder (CSBD).
