Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC is a major investor in AI startup Anthropic. GIC co-led a massive US$30 billion funding round in February 2026, which valued the company at US$380 billion. Reports indicate GIC invested approximately US$1.5 billion in this round, following a previous investment in late 2025. Earlier, GIC was also involved in the prior US$13 billion Series F round in September 2025.
