I have seen older men wear Leicester, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle, Derby and Leeds jerseys in S'pore. They were most probably fans from the 1970s and 80s. In the case of Leicester, glory hunters from several years ago.

Doesn't mean much, because some of these jerseys may have simply been on sale, and the old fogeys got them cheap. Some of the old fogeys may not even know what they are wearing.

However it is true that old fogeys who support Leeds United tend to be in their 60s or 70s, because Leeds United were a top team in the 1970s. I think they were Champions League runners up in one of the years in the 70s.

I hate Leeds united. Still remember the 2000 team with psychos like Lee bowyer and Jonathan woodgate.

So happy they got relegated and languished in championship/Div 1 hell for a couple of decades.
