American climber Alex Honnold, 40, conquered the 508m-high Taipei 101 on Sunday (Jan 25), without ropes.

Despite a delayed start due to rain and windy conditions, Honnold completed the feat in four hours.
 
It is possible (more like probable) for him to fall to his death.
Possible as in he is trained for it. A human being can be trained to handle situation like this so it is possible.

You just cannot accept the fact that this is possible even if it is done by a fellow human being.
