the whole issue is the reserved seat which creates unnecessary conflicts and misunderstandings. youngsters feel they are equally entitled to these seats since it's not meant to be mandatory while old folks think they are automatically entitled to it. we shouldn't have the so called reserved seats in the first place. passengers should be reminded to be gracious when they encounter an older person or anyone with special needs but it should not give the impression that it's reserved for certain categories of people. that way, oldies who are given the seats by gracious willing passengers would feel more appreciation and there would also be no resentment if no ones gave up their seats.
