I do not believe that three individuals threatened hom with a knife and demanded money.
The life of an expat in Singapore is very different from a local.
Yes, the personal income tax rates are very progressive in Canada, the capital gains tax make accumulation of wealth more difficult than in Singapore, Canada is not as clean and efficient than Singapore.
There is one puzzling statistic, that thete appears to be more Singaporeans emigrating to Canada, than Canadians willing to move to Singapore.
