His views are only from the standpoint of a small nation State, but he critically ADMITTED that International Law and Order, as laid down with the formation of UN to prevent another war, was...sadly....broken even before the World leaders back then whom signed on the document, before even the signature ink was dried......
Looking back at history after the horrific WW2, it had been the COMMUNIST dictators that instigated and created wars. eg- North Korean War, Vietnam war, and then criminals in the guise as religious supremacists in Iran, Kuwait, Libya, Syria, Iraq, and now narco terrorist leaders in need of funds made use of drugs to support their tottering regimes.....And USA had to intervene several times to stop the rot to Humanity....
Communists and Criminals WILL NEVER abide by the Rule of Laws, as being dictators, they presume themselves as being the law, which runs counter to the aims of broken UN and Democracies, and worse, led by bleeding hearted LIBTARDS as such in EU - evidence of such are CLEAR to see how progressive Democratic Nations became dictatorships run by foreigners. Just look at EU with its influx of immigrants from broken religious Nations demanding that EU return to the stone ages....
Thus, for smaller DEMOCRATIC Nations to survive in a World of REALITY, whereby TRUTHS can no longer be swept under the carpet....Each citizen and leader will have to make a choice - to support Democratic Institutions or support PROVEN FAILED COMMUNIST LOCUST LIKE IDEOLOGIES....
May we in Singapore not need to make such choices, as We only wish everyone well and will work with everyone. But when push comes to shove.....History must never be repeated....How the communists treated Hong Kong citizens is a stark reminder.....no matter how George Yeo or the traitor Kishore Mahbubani whitewashes history....
