It was rebuilt plenty of times.
Note that after the fire, the concrete skeleton remained for another rebuilding.

don’t talk cock lah. wherein ancient chink civilisation got concrete? concrete is invented by romans lah. ancient chinese used stones or cut rock called masonry. masonry over a thousand years ago didn’t get stacked like a “skeleton” ok. they were only used for the foundation plus flooring at the bottom level. every skeletal structure that went up multiple stories were made of wood beams. mai tua pau sian ok.
