In an online era where the line between celebrity and influencer is blurred and authenticity is prized, Lao Zoe is obviously clueless about how to play the social media game.
She obviously engages a ghost writer who cluelessly writes the SAME post in BOTH English and Mandarin, while everyone knows Lao Zoe buay tak chek and has issues with Mandarin pronunciation (not to mention English).
Lao Zoe's ghost writer is also some kind of clueless or cannot-be-bothered Gen Z who posts hashtags (which self-respecting influencer will be so blatant about it?!), some of which are too try-hard (eg.#佐伊@语).
As if all the above is not bad enough, Lao Zoe obviously Photoshops her photos. Proof? Watch her on high-definition TV where you can see all her crow's feet, jowls and neck lines - because MediaCorp has no budget for CGI.
Fann Wong's social media is less ghostwritten and at least you can feel like the actress is overseeing her own social media - you can see her posting replies to fans in the comments section.
