If a family of 3 returning from travel, most grab vehicles only allow you to put 2 large luggage. Even for smaller MPVs like Noah or Sienta, driver can reject you for having more than two large luggage.
If you stay in tampines or Pasir Ris, airport taxi will be rude to you. So might as well take train to nearest MRT and then transfer to Taxi home.

It's dangerous to drive with heavy downpours. Not for drizzle. That's why taxi or phv insurance should be high.
Taxi from airport to boonlay - smelly smelly $35 with airport surcharge and all.
Changi mrt-> lavender : $3
Lavender taxi - boonlay : $11
after zhenghu ban passengers taking luggages into MRT train .... they will ban Grab going into airport arrival/departure and only SMRT/Comfort TAXIS allowed ....

Best is to ride a PMD with your luggage, go to Terminal 4 - Jurassic Mile - East Coast Park, make an exit to the right at your preferred stop e.g. Marine Parade, or continue all the way along the sectors of East Coast Park until you reach the Marina Bay area.
Where to park? The best is someone give you a lift in low cost pmd.
