Maybe there are preservatives added to keep a longer shelf life for grapes and other fruits and different weather in Singapore

More important is the quality from the regions. Fruits are fruits , no need must come from Muslim regions & start drawing lines. I once didn't see the country of origin for Muscat grapes. They were sour instead of sweet unlike those Muscat grapes from Korea.
