It is the presiding Judge, who will base his/her verdict UPON the Constitution, facts, irrefutable evidences, his/her journey in life studying PhD Law as well as his/her career experiences, who DECIDES on the outcome of a trial, on who is right or wrong.

In Court, where there is a plaintiff, there will be a defendant. In Democratic Singapore, each is entitled to Legal Representation.

No lawyer will turn down cases, as it's how they will have to earn a living to survive, even if it is a losing case. Win or lose, they still get their pay. Equally, may no citizen be naive and believe totally what a lawyer may say, as he/she will be good with words to say what one WANTS to hear.

They are honest and professional, regardless if working from an office in 1 Raffles Place, or 29B Jalan Besar, but only up to a certain level, as it WILL BE on precedents, Mitigating factors ( circumstances ) that they hope will change a Judge's mind and win cases. BUT so too the opposing side - plaintiff or defendant. No Lawyer is the same. Some work on classical computer mode, while others work on Quantum Mechanics wavelengths to research on such...

Ultimately, it is the presiding Judge who decides, NOT lawyers, on who is right or wrong.
