@glockman

There are pros and cons to everything (eg. including any particular dietary method) in life, some carbs are actually necessary for good health.

Fasting has also been practised in Islam, Christianity and even Taoism. Taoist priests eat once a day.

Trust ancient wisdom

KNN so how now? First they say intermittent fasting is good, now it's a bad idea?!!! WTF!!!:cry::biggrin:

This chiobu host and metabolic scientist Dr addresses your concerns, watch what he says (ok his comments are more about a HFLC diet rather than the IF diet, but it's somewhat related, and most people try to do a mix of HFLC and IF anyway) :

Thanks. It's good info.:thumbsup:

I think at the end of the day, since fads come and go, we need to use common sense and also listen to our body. Eat when you feel hungry, but eat slowly and in moderation, choosing fresh produce as often as possible. Exercise is important too, but don't be a hero and over exert. I am certainly not a health freak, since I love my tobacco and alcohol, everything in moderation. And if it feels good, do it!:biggrin:
