cev is a tank. has a bigger gun than most tanks. avlb has a tank chassis, operates a scissors bridge instead of a gun. both have sextra accessories to clean. cev is the worst. has demolition gun, boom, bulldozer blade, plus a myriad of motors, tools, and parts.

in u.s., the m728 cev is classified as “consisting of an m60-ai tank”. thus it’s more than a tank. it’s superceded by the m1 cmv and m1150 abv. they go first to clear minefields before tanks roll in (behind).
