1. A Human heart is made of flesh, not of stone. Each would had experienced pain and sufferings at some points in the journey of one's life.
2. Under a spectacle of a major sight and sound event, it will only evoke such memories, more so when true life stories of others are seen and heard, as one had experienced such before and knows what it is like to be in their circumstances, and thus the tears, but NOT just over the pain and sufferings, equally also for the sacrifices and struggles they had to overcome to be where they are today - a survivor.
As a citizen of a civilization, one is not alone. There are family, loved ones, relatives and friends, and critically - community and society to uplift all lives, as much as we can. And we have came a long way.......thanks to our founding and forefathers sacrifices and efforts, a legacy to pass on to the innocent next generations..
3.The NDP organizers and management, and everyone involved, did a great EQ job last night - of courage, dedication, resilience, hope for future and more..... I am sure it was not only one that shed tears, but many more had salt water welling up in their eyes watching the Parade live or at home...
