They always got warnings about swimming in local waters. What makes them think suddenly water quality will improve with this competition? Just trying their luck

All the ships dump their waste while parking at the port anchorages....

Wasn't this event hyped up to be a 'signature event' as part of the year-long SG60 celebrations?

What's wrong with the water? Above average concentration of unfiltered Newater?

Please come to the only seaside spot at West Coast Park, the water is terribly dirty, but not surprising since it's surrounded by industrial shitholes and a container port is not too far away.

When the sunlight is good, you can see a film of glossy oil on the water surface. And a lot of floating rubbish.

But still plenty of Melayu boys go there to fish, and on weekends you see jetskis and windsailing.

But cleaning up the environment is less important than spreading the anti-carbon 'sustainbility' cult now.

What's the source of the pollution? Dumping of waste from jiu hu?

It's a women's competition? Are women who are having their period allowed to participate? If not careful, Sinkieland can have our very own Red Sea. Except this one will be smelly, Moses will 'pui' instead of parting it.

if you walk into the water at east coast will you get yeast infection?
