hahaaha, who reads this shit times govt PAP shit? chinese malaysian students don't even want to go to malaysian uni because they suck. and those that can go, go to one of the many foreign based unis in Malaysia. And in the worse case, NUS will take away spots from sinkie kids and give it to malaysian chinese students on full scholarship

S'pore must rejoice at this form of institutionalised racial discrimination as the Malaysian leaders are shooting themselves in the foot. They will never be able to compete with us economically as only the 3rd or 4th tier of talent is running the country.

The outflow of highly skilled and educated Malaysians seeking better opportunities abroad in countries with stronger economies and higher living standards is driven by factors such as racial discrimination, limited career progression and better remuneration in other nations such as S'pore. This is the biggest own goal scored by the Malay govt.

Many many years ago, Indonesia experimented fairness. All entry to Universities will be based on exams results alone. No quota no nothing. That year most of the 1st year good university enrolment were ethnic Chinese. Seeing the results, they decided to abandon the experiment after 01 year.

As in Malaysia, I support quota system to let other Race to have an opportunity. However, it will degrade the quality of its education. Academically ethnic Chinese are better, so they should be allocated reasonable quota. Or else brain drain is not healthy for any country.

Former Deputy PM Abdullah Badawi urged Malays to embrace meritocracy and give up the crutches of special govt aid under affirmative action. However, Malays are unwilling to give up economic, education and other benefits because they lack the intellect and drive of the Chinese. Badawi told Malays to give up their crutches and start walking independently or they would have to use wheelchairs in the future. No PM after Badawi dared to embrace meritocracy because they realise that Malays are unable to achieve success on their own merit.

What are you fckers complaining about. There are ample private universities for chinese to go.
Plus no money, guaranteed of full student loan. Get first class honours, no need to pay back. Isn't that gomen scholarship with no bonds attached? Better than PAP system.

Who is complaining? Affirmative Action must remain in force so Malaysia will never be an economic threat to S'pore. How can they ever be when clueless racists are running Malaysia into the ground?
