Perhaps there can be better discussions to OPEN minds on cultures, behavioral Sciences-anthropology, to understand the Middle East situation better.....
Let's take the example of the brutal and infamous Genghis Khan - from a nomadic tribe with little civilizational experiences to uplift and empower lives but only understood the Rule of Might, when he conquered every of his barbaric nomadic tribes, forced them brutally into submission, and led the conquest of China in 1207, which was under the decadent and absolutely corrupted Song Dynasty, which was ripe for betrayals by even its own citizens.
His grandson Kublai Khan won and in 1279, Han China was ruled by the barbarian Mongols and named the Yuan Dynasty.
1. While the barbarian Mongolians did managed to conquer China thru brutal means, it
never did managed to win the hearts and minds of the HAN Chinese people. Kublai Khan was a smart man, who decided to learn the thousand years history of China, to progress and evolve, to secure his Rule for his generations to come.
He became more Han Chinese than the barbaric Mongolians of that era, but unfortunately, not his leaders whom never
gave up their barbaric lifestyles and even system of justice, thus peace and harmony could NEVER be achieved....

Eventually, after Kublai, the civilizational Han Chinese had enough of brutalities, and thru the Han Chinese Zhu Yuan Zhang, a mere Buddhist monk from a peasant family but highly intelligent and resourceful, led successful rebellions against the Khans, toppled them and finally created the great MING Dynasty.
The point is - no matter how barbarians whom only know jungle laws, attempts to overthrow an advanced civilization, such had NEVER worked in the history of Humanity. Persia was a long advanced nation that even had records of Alexander the Great's visit to its lands.
Thus, the last prophet - Muhammad's caution treatment of Persia, although Persians were advanced but were only on the verge of decadence, to convince them onto a better path for civilization thru letters sent, than rather military might.
Unfortunately, the good prophet's band of friends, whom were still nomadic with little understanding of progress and evolution, presumed might is right, thus the result is the schism between the Arabia Sunnis and the Arab led Shia Persian converts, seeking for religiously supremacy than to uplift lives...
Such are only festering wounds, and against the very teachings of the last prophet - Muhammad - divinely sent to uplift Arab lives.....his very words, misunderstood, taken out of context, etc.....that made Islam regressed since his sad passing, when his ideals were probably the very few of the first democratic ideals in Humankind - freedom for each Human born with free will to decide upon guides of life, ended slavery, created emancipation of womanhood, etc, etc...so much more.... but sadly twisted by others....
I am only a insignificant nobody, had never any need for more, but still a fellow Human sharing our only planet Earth, at least for now....is peace, progress and evolution so difficult to achieve, not just oneself, but for family - the building blocks of Civilization, loved ones, relatives, friends, society and INNOCENT generations to come..... ?
