At what age do men lose the motivation to impress women?

Personally nowadays, especially after the launched of hitch ride, I no longer sees having a car as a motivating factor.

As for age, personally it varies I.e at some point in 40s I began to be not so keen to impress, then suddenly eg a year later i began to impress again. Upto now too. Sometimes I do feel like to impress while sometimes not.
It is something like eg I got a new haircut, and I find the haircut to look good, I will walk around the premises to showoff before I head home.
Sometimes even when I see my moustache has trimmed to very good shapes, I will go out to impress woman.
But after a week or so it becomes ugly then I shave it off.

So to me is not about age but rather at the point of time, whether I look good or ugly.
