Does anybody remember the original Hock Lam Street Beef Kway Teow stall, once located behind the old Capitol building? The stall, which was famous for its traditional Teochew-style beef kway teow, had its last outlet at Alexandra Road. It is now long gone.

Another one that I know at Amoy Street
Last time got Michelin 1 star
I start eat in my Poly days until now

Yeah. The char kway teow and goreng pisang there also quite famous.

Can anyone remember that there used to be a mini food place opposite the YWCA at Dhoby Ghaut in the 80s and early 90s? It's called "Home Sweet Home" I think.

I haven't eaten at Fatty Weng's for years, but must make a trip there soon with my family. They are at 175 Bencoolen St, #01-31 Burlington Square.

So Fatty Wing is a copy cat?

Fatty Wing is the original. But Fatty Wing Seong that fat fuck is a copy cat. Ah Seong kicked the bucket in 2018 I think. My father knows him quite well. So last time when we dined there, he'll give us a 20% discount.
