Serious [Dear @eatshitndie-sama, is this true?] According to this "London-based think tank", the USA ranks "69th" for healthcare!

for most americans and illegals yes. but not for americans who have contributed to social security and paid fica or medicare taxes all their lives until age 65. at 65 these americans enjoy medicare part a, b, c and d which as a whole is 69% far better than what sg has to offer. the monthly payment for part b (and only part b) is only $180.

if you are employed and health benefits are covered by employer you generally enjoy excellent healthcare. otherwise have to wait until 65 to enjoy the best of medicare depending on social security and fica contributions.

Maybe, although Singapore is better than Thailand, Bangkok is better than Singapore for some types of foreigners?

Anyway, the only reason I started this thread is that I was quite surprised and amused that some people in this world consider my dearest @eatshitndie-sama's beloved USA to be ranked "69th" for healthcare! :o-o:
In other words, I would have started this thread even if Singapore was ranked last!
