Have you noticed that the bees these days, don't have that large numbers of flowers to get nectar & produce good honey.

The bees also have to be Cheaper, Better, Faster; they find alternative sources like sugared water in homes etc..

So wha to do, Cheaper, Better, Faster, you get thin quality watered down honey..

Must be SINkingpore bees... needs an infusion of FT's..

but price increased from 5.50 for 700 gm to 7 something for 550 gm.
profiteering at its worst.

On a more serious note, I recently ordered my fav McDonald's Fish'o fillet after a long break. Kanina, bun shrink, fish patty shrink, so called medium fries, box shrink, fries also 3/4 full .... cheaper, better, faster my foot .....:oIo:

The chicken you ate used to be full grow chicken so drumsticks and other parts are bigger 20 years ago.

Now more tender and smaller because chicken are injected with growth hormones and probably slaugthered for profit before they see their 4 months old birthday cake.

Go take a look at the health store Eden, 1st floor Peninsula Shopping Ctr(the one with the hotel) I get my honey from there. You know you are getting health food grade products.

It's also called creative packaging. Look at the fine print always but do feel the difference in weight. Relying on the eye alone is simply not enough.
