It's all about salt.
Malaysian food is indeed very salty whether it is Indian, Malay or Chinese food.

they can’t handle spices and chili peppers. tw mother in law will kpkb if son marries indon or ml chink char bor. mil and dil will kill each other in the kitchen as neither can stand each other’s cooking.

Their agriculture is unregulated.

Toxic pesticides and chemicals that are banned in most countries, including China, are sprayed on their vegetables and soil. In the past two decades, there were so many cases of young Malaysian citizens who ate a healthy diet full of local veges ended up with cancer.

Mix of oil, salt and spice makes one fuller after such a meal...obviously going natural or raw would be a healthier option but we do need to indulge sometimes

That's actually true. I avoid eating CaiPng at hawker centres and food courts in Singapore as their ingredients are laden with pesticides. Long term consumption will surely leads to health damage. Then will be too late liao...

All veggies are tested scrutinised and certified by local SFA before it is distributed locally.

Don't be silly. They do only sample testing. In fact, sometimes after sample testing they found that the pesticides levels exceeded but couldn't do anything about it because the offending veges already distributed all over in wet markets and hdb cheap vege shops around singapore and it's impossible to do recall...so good luck to all...
