1. All the best to PM Wong & his team, which indeed is a strong team.
i)As the insignificant nobody me had mentioned on another post:- leaders need not be a genius, a professor or an ALL KNOWING PERFECT ENTITY which DOES NOT exists in mortals.
ii)TRUE leaders are only proven exceptional mortals whom have the special extrovert abilities to ORGANIZE, LISTEN, PLAN, MOTIVATE the teams under their charge to ACHEIVE specific purposes with proven results.
Those in PM Wong's Cabinet had been ELECTED or uncontested in walkover wards by the opposition political parties, & WON 87 seats as a political party in a 97 seat Parliament, had they not?
2. May ALL citizens REALIZE - those in the Cabinet are the leaders AND ARE GIVEN SPECIFIC DUTIES under their charge, to ACHEIVE RESULTS, to uplift lives.
They too would have to do the same as PM Wong had done, to CREATE & BUILD strong teams within their depts, civil services & achieve results to uplift lives. Such is only how the private sector would do the same to be successful.
No mortal is perfect, & from time to time, mistakes would be made, but the critical issue is to acknowledge mistakes made over clouded judgements by others whom have agendas of their own, in silent & peaceful contemplation, to correct them, so that National goals & aims can be achieved.
3. Talk about comparisons - Just in respect to the ThreadStarter- a good Ikea cabinet will serve one's personal purpose - drawers that work well to keep one's organized belongings & costs little, BUT a political Cabinet serves the purposes of 3 million+ citizens & another 2million inhabitants as well as millions of tourists on our shores, each of such groups helping to bring in revenues to our National Treasury to fund social expenditures - healthcare, education, homes, infrastructure, research, security, etc, etc.......
