Does hard work really guarantee success in Singapore?

promotion does not mean you don't have to work. usually is you have to work harder.
A person who is called a post turtle: "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he's elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with."

Those very knowledgeable technically will be bossed over by the business savvy. Like Steve Jobs and Wozniak.or Rudolf diesel. And eventually Karl Benz.

How far deeper? 96% already vaccinated. It's a death sentence yet these daftards everyday continue to bend over and get fucked over and over. Even when some of them know the lanjiao is covered in sores and all kinds of diseases
where you get the 96% from?

Only an uptron diploma guarantees success in SG. Ramesh is one fine example.

Q: Does hard work really guarantee success in Singapore?
A: No!!!! Otherwise it is not called "Hard work".

Some never work hard but good at wayang and backstab but will create hatred.

If the person is highly skilled in his work, can wayang and backstab, definitely will rise position even further.

If the person is highly skilled but can't wayang, he definitely will work miserably and might wanna change job.

If u have a billionaire father, there is no need to work hard,u will automatically be appointed CEO of the company.

Work too hard and too smart your boss may look at you as a threat to his position.
In the world of office politics, there is a clear and present danger about being too competent in what we do. Those who shoulder their duties with customary aplomb, risk showing their bosses that they are not only talented, but evidently too talented for their own good.

The govt of S'pore and family businesses operate in the same way; nepotism and cronyism dictates who is promoted and who gets shafted aside.

If talented employees display brilliance, their boss might fear being replaced by the very subordinates whose work appraisals he graded favourably. Many rising stars in a company receive a rude shock at their next performance review; instead of the expected glowing appraisal, their boss criticise their decision-making and marginalise their contributions. Whether such talents resign in anger or are forced out, the company loses a vital contributor because of a paranoid boss trying to sabotage a subordinate perceived as a threat to his job.
