Gullible Sinkies flavour the Whites no matter who they wine and dine with :FU:

if Sinkies don't even care about job security and cost of living, housing, etc...................they won't care one lah............

also, Pinky is the one that ask them to go for dinner one lah................otherwise - they no dare to do so..................the confiscated money will be returned to the real owners.........

So what was the purpose of the meeting? Not trying to protect these PAP farkers. But to be fair, perhaps they were not aware at that point in time that they were money launderers but just thought they are some ultra-rich folks trying to invest in SG and would throw billions into our economy.

So as usual, PAP only see money so definitely would try to carry their balls in order to claim credit, LOL.

The types of leaders a nation installs is judgement on the people. If you witness a murder and keep silent, you are no different than the murderer. It's complicity in the eyes of the law

SINGAPORE: Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat do not know convicted money launderer Su Haijin personally and have no dealings with him, their press secretaries said on Tuesday (May 6) in response to media queries.

Pictures of the ministers with Fujian gang member Su were posted online by former Reform Party chairman Charles Yeo. Su is one of the 10 people convicted in the billion-dollar money laundering case last year.

“There are some photos circulating, in which Ministers Ong Ye Kung and Chee Hong Tat were pictured at dinners where Fujian gang member Su Haijin, was also present,” the ministers' press secretaries said in a joint statement.

“As ministers, they meet a diverse range of people at various events and gatherings.

“They attended the dinners at the invitation of a friend, and Su happened to be there. Minister Ong recalls that months later, at another dinner, Su happened to be there too.”

They said the ministers do not know Su personally and have had no contact or dealings with him, before or since these occasions.

Su was later arrested for his illegal activities and his assets were confiscated.

The PAP government upholds a high standard of integrity and the ministers are determined to uphold this, even though in the course of their work, they may inadvertently come into contact with people who are later established to be unsavoury,” said the press secretaries.

“Maintaining this standard is non-negotiable.”

Ex Minister Lim Sia Suay was there too!

So question is, how did Su happened to be there and managed to sneak in? And who is this 'friend'?

I think it's a job for CPIB to take on.

CPIB should tell them no worries, just invite them for lim kopi chit chatting only.

Josephine Teo on why the Govt failed to detect money laundering in SG: “It’s not just one needle in a haystack, but one needle in several haystacks”. In that case, our obscenely paid ministers should gather all those haystacks into one, before starting their search!
